President and Chief Executive Officer, Travel + Leisure Co.

Michael D. Brown serves as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Travel + Leisure Co. and is a member of its Board of Directors. Brown is responsible for the performance, growth, and strategic direction of the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company, providing more than six million vacations to travelers every year.

Brown joined the company in 2017, and in June 2018 led its subsequent evolution to Wyndham Destinations as an independent public company, globally headquartered in Orlando, FL, after spinning off Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. In 2021, Wyndham Destinations acquired the iconic Travel + Leisure brand and became Travel + Leisure Co., aligned with its strategy to be the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company.

Previously, Brown served as Chief Operating Officer at Hilton Grand Vacations (HGV). Prior to being appointed as COO for HGV in 2014, he held the role of Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing – Mainland U.S. and Europe. Before joining HGV in 2008, Brown served in a series of leadership roles throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Caribbean during his more than 16 years at Marriott International and Marriott Vacation Club International.

A leisure travel industry veteran of more than 30 years, Brown’s leadership is infused with a combination of strategic vision, operational expertise, authentic engagement, and industry knowledge. He drives the company’s commitment to be responsive and engaged, and fosters its global spirit of hospitality and responsible tourism.

Brown earned a bachelor’s degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He currently serves as a member of the World Travel & Tourism Council, The Travel and Tourism Council - Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, The Real Estate Roundtable, and the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Executive Committee. He served as Chair of the ARDA Board of Directors from 2021–2024. He is also a member of the Orlando Economic Partnership Governor’s Council, an Advisory Council Member of the Enzian Theatre, and serves on the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Metro Orlando Board of Directors.

In 2023, for the fifth consecutive year, Brown was named to the Florida Trend 500 List as a top business leader in Florida. He was also recognized by Junior Achievement of Central Florida and named to their Hall of Fame, receiving the Spirit of Achievement Award.

Sy Esfahani serves as Chief Technology Officer of Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company, providing more than six million vacations to travelers every year.

As a member of the company’s Executive Committee, he is responsible for integrating innovative new technologies and data analytics capabilities to deliver a dynamic, flexible, and integrated modern IT environment. Esfahani also serves as the executive sponsor of the company’s Asian and Pacific Islander diversity resource group.

Esfahani joined the company in 2021 after serving as Chief Information Officer at Qatar Airways Group, where he led the technology transformation to deliver exponential digital capabilities as part of delivering “5 Star” customer touch points. Prior to that, he was Global Chief Information Officer for MGM Resorts International, where he focused on improving operations and customer experience across various lines of business under the 20 resort brands. Along with his team, he launched the first fully operational mobile and kiosk check-ins capable of offering digital keys to guest rooms.

Earlier in his career, Esfahani led the CIO and key technology leadership functions for financial services companies Fiserv and ACI, as well as tradeshow production company GES. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a master’s degree in business administration from Central Michigan University.

Erik Hoag serves as the Chief Financial Officer of Travel + Leisure Co., a leading leisure travel company providing more than six million vacations to travelers every year.

As a member of the company’s Executive Committee, Hoag leads the company’s global finance organization, including accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis, treasury, tax, investor relations, consumer finance, and all operational finance activities for Travel + Leisure Co. He also partners on strategic initiatives to ensure the company’s balance sheet, capital structure, and operating cash flows are optimized to support continued growth.

With more than 25 years of financial leadership experience, Hoag has an exceptional record of scaling businesses and building long-term value through strategic financial planning, capital allocation, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Travel + Leisure Co., he spent 17 years at FIS, a leading global provider of technology solutions, facilitating transactions and offering services to financial institutions, businesses, and capital market firms. He held progressive leadership positions at FIS which culminated in the roles of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Integration Officer. During his tenure, he was instrumental in charting the company’s course through a transformational period of modernization and growth, developing the financial strategy and planning behind a series of mergers, acquisitions, and long-term capital spending and investment programs that positioned FIS in a dominant market position for the future.

Previously, Hoag held multiple leadership roles at Bank of America, Truist, and HSBC. He was also on the Board of Directors of Capco and Reliance Trust, participating in the sale of Capco in 2021.

A graduate of Florida State University (FSU) with a dual bachelor’s degree in finance and economics, Erik is a member of the FSU College of Business Board of Governors, where he helps develop and mentor the next generation of business and finance leaders.

Kimberly A. Marshall serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer of Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company, providing more than six million vacations to travelers every year.

As a member of the company’s Executive Committee, Marshall is responsible for leading the company’s overall human resources strategy, global talent acquisition, and HR business partner team. She also oversees leadership development, associate education and training, diversity and inclusion, social responsibility, organizational design, compensation and benefits, Human Resources Information Systems, HR Operations, the Associate Service Center, business continuity planning, and corporate events. A champion of the Travel + Leisure Co. culture, she is also an executive sponsor of the company’s Global Inclusion and Diversity Council and the diversity resource group for women. Marshall additionally serves as Chair of the Travel + Leisure Charitable Foundation Board of Directors.

Marshall joined the company in 2012 and played a key role in its evolution to Wyndham Destinations as an independent public company after the spin-off of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in June 2018. In 2021, Wyndham Destinations acquired the iconic Travel + Leisure brand and became Travel + Leisure Co., aligning with its strategy to be the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company.

Previously, Marshall served as Executive Vice President of Human Resources for Wyndham’s timeshare business, where she led employee engagement across all divisions. She originally joined the organization as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, overseeing the development and implementation of HR strategy across sales, marketing, and operational functions.

Prior to Wyndham, Marshall led Human Resources for PSS World Medical, a publicly traded $3B healthcare company. She has also served as SVP of Human Resources for CHEP Americas and VP of Human Resources for Centex Corporation. A Certified Public Accountant, she began her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co. and later PricewaterhouseCoopers. She then spent 11 years at The Walt Disney Company in Finance and Human Resources.

Marshall holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University. She attended leadership development programs at INSEAD, New York University, and West Point. She also serves on the Orlando Economic Partnership Board of Directors and is a member of the governing body of the Florida CHRO Community and the HR Policy Association.

Jeff Myers serves as the Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for the Vacation Ownership business line of Travel + Leisure Co. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Committee. In this role, Myers oversees the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies, programs, and training across all Vacation Ownership brands in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

Under his leadership in 2023, a dedicated sales and marketing force of more than 4,400 associates generated over $2.1 billion in annual gross vacation ownership interest sales across 90 sales locations and produced more than 590,000 tours through 240 local marketing sites. Myers also collaborates closely with business development, operations, and finance teams to support innovation and overall business strategy.

The company’s extensive Vacation Ownership portfolio includes a collection of trusted and iconic vacation club brands, featuring more than 270 resorts worldwide and serving over 800,000 timeshare owners with quality, flexibility, and value.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Myers joined the company in 1991 and has held numerous progressive leadership roles, including site leader, regional vice president, and Executive Vice President of Sales for Club Wyndham and WorldMark by Wyndham. His consistent track record of delivering industry-leading sales and marketing results across onsite, regional, and corporate operations led to his appointment as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer in 2009. In alignment with the company’s commitment to inclusion and diversity, Myers also serves as the executive sponsor of the diversity resource group for LGBTQIA+ associates and allies.

Throughout his career, Myers has received several honors, including Fairfield Resorts’ Rookie of the Year Award in 1991 and the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) Gold Award in 1996. He was also part of an ARDA Gold Award–winning task force responsible for developing the ARDA Leadership-Education-Action-Service (LEAPS) program.

Myers attended Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and is a graduate of the CEO Academy at the Wharton School of Business. He also holds a certificate from the Global Institute of Leadership Development (GILD).

Geoff Richards serves as the Chief Operating Officer for the Vacation Ownership business line of Travel + Leisure Co. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Committee. In this role, Richards oversees core business operations, product development and integration, process excellence and quality, strategic operations, and enterprise-level growth initiatives for the vacation ownership business. He also leads the company’s hospitality, real estate, and development divisions, as well as its Sports Illustrated Resorts–related ventures.

The company’s extensive Vacation Ownership portfolio includes trusted and iconic vacation club brands with more than 270 resorts worldwide, offering quality, flexibility, and value to over 800,000 timeshare owners.

Since joining the company in 1996 as a Sales Program Manager, Richards has held numerous leadership positions within sales and marketing operations, including Senior Vice President of Sales Development, Vice President of Sales and Site Marketing Programs, and Executive Vice President of Global Sales Operations.

Richards has deep experience in business operations, having held executive leadership roles in sales development, site marketing, hospitality, human resources, and global sales operations. He also served as the executive sponsor of a multi-year technology initiative focused on enhancing the company’s inventory management and reservation systems. In alignment with the company’s commitment to inclusion and diversity, Richards serves as the executive sponsor of the diversity resource group for Black associates and allies.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business management from North Carolina State University and maintains real estate licenses in North Carolina and Florida.

Amandine Robin-Caplan serves as the Chief Brand & Communications Officer of Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company, providing more than six million vacations to travelers every year.

As a member of the Executive Committee, Robin-Caplan leads global strategic branding and communications, shaping a unified voice that strengthens the recognition and reputation of Travel + Leisure Co. She oversees the teams responsible for global brand strategy, internal and external communications, digital marketing, consumer insights, and social media.

Before joining Travel + Leisure Co., Robin-Caplan spent 11 years with Pernod Ricard, the world’s No. 1 premium wine and spirits company, ultimately serving as Chief Communications Officer for the North America region. She also helped advance communications, brand, training, marketing, and business development efforts at McCarthy Tétrault and GE Capital in Canada.

Robin-Caplan holds a dual Bachelor of Commerce degree in Strategic Marketing and International Business from NEOMA Business School in France and the University of Ottawa in Canada. She also completed the Pernod Ricard Executive Leadership Program at INSEAD. In addition, she has served on the boards of Columbia University Maison Française and Keep America Beautiful, among other organizations.

Barry Robinson serves as President and Managing Director, International Operations, for the Vacation Ownership business line of Travel + Leisure Co. He is a member of the company’s global Executive Committee and is based in Singapore, overseeing key markets across the Asia Pacific region including Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Indonesia, China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, and South Korea.

Robinson leads the international growth strategy for the largest timeshare operation outside of North America and oversees three major vacation clubs—Accor Vacation Club, Club Wyndham South Pacific, and Club Wyndham Asia—collectively serving more than 100,000 members. The business also operates as a mixed-use manager and hotel management development agent in the region. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its position as a leader in resort development, construction, and asset management, supported by a consumer finance portfolio valued at more than US$218 million.

Since joining the organization in 2003, Robinson has expanded the Asia Pacific operation to a club asset portfolio exceeding US$1 billion, with 89 hotel and vacation club properties open or under development. He previously led the expansion of Wyndham Hotel Group across Asia Pacific as President and Managing Director, entering new markets such as South Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Vanuatu, and Guam.

With more than 28 years of experience in Asia’s hospitality sector, Robinson has guided the growth and acquisitions of major brands, including Accor Vacation Club in Australia and Resort Frontier (manager of Sundance Resort Club) in Japan. Earlier, he facilitated a strategic partnership between Greens Company Ltd and Choice Hotels in 2000, enabling the brand to expand its presence in Japan.

Robinson’s industry leadership has earned notable recognition. In 2022, he was named Asia Pacific Hotelier of the Year at the HM Awards and Entrepreneur of the Year at the GNEX Industry Awards. He was inducted into the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC) Hall of Fame in 2017. A dedicated philanthropist, he has served on the Board of the FSHD Global Research Foundation since 2007.

Over his 30-year career, Robinson has held senior leadership roles in management, operations, development, branding, and franchising for leading hospitality organizations including Swiss-Belhotel International, Swissôtel Worldwide Partner Hotels, and Choice Hotels International across Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, China, and Singapore.

He currently serves as President of the Asia Pacific Resort Development Organisation (APRDO), the regional industry body for vacation ownership, and as Deputy President of the Australian Timeshare and Holiday Ownership Council (ATHOC).

Robinson has completed several executive programs, including the Global Leaders Program with the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, an Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School, and the WPO Harvard Presidents’ Program. He remains an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).

Jim Savina serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Travel + Leisure Co., the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company, providing more than six million vacations to travelers each year. As a member of the company’s Executive Committee, he leads all aspects of the organization’s legal function.

Savina joined the company in 2018 and played a key role in establishing Wyndham Destinations as an independent public company following the spin-off of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts. In 2021, Wyndham Destinations acquired the iconic Travel + Leisure brand and rebranded as Travel + Leisure Co., supporting the company’s strategy to become the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company.

Before joining Travel + Leisure Co., Savina served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at The Kraft Heinz Company, where he played a central role in the merger of Kraft Foods Group and H. J. Heinz Company and led the legal function for the combined organization. He previously served as Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer for Kraft Foods Group. His earlier experience includes roles as Executive Director of Global Legal Investigations & Legal Operations for Avon Products; Senior Counsel and Director of Claims and Legal Administration for Energy Future Holdings; and Associate at Jones Day.

Savina earned his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Texas at Austin.

Chairman of the Board

Stephen P. Holmes has served as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board since May 2018. Mr. Holmes previously served as our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer from July 2006 until May 2018. Mr. Holmes was Vice Chairman and director of Cendant Corporation and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Cendant’s Travel Content Division from December 1997 to July 2006. Mr. Holmes was Vice Chairman of HFS Incorporated (HFS) from September 1996 to December 1997, a director of HFS from June 1994 to December 1997 and Executive Vice President, Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of HFS from July 1990 to September 1996. Mr. Holmes also currently serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Wyndham Hotels.

Mr. Holmes’ exceptional leadership as our former CEO provides him with detailed strategic perspective and knowledge of our operations and industry that are critical to the Board’s effectiveness. He possesses extensive public company management experience and is widely recognized as a visionary leader in the global hospitality industry.

Louise F. Brady has served as a Director since November 2016. She is a co-founder and has served as the Managing Partner of Piedmont Capital Partners, LLC (PCP), Piedmont Capital Partners II, LLC (PCP II), and Piedmont Capital Investments, LLC (PCI) since March 2013, March 2019, and February 2020, respectively. PCP and PCP II are privately held venture capital funds that focus on developing innovative technologies, and PCI is a privately held investment entity that focuses on transformative investments in emerging technology companies. She also currently serves as President of Blue Current, Inc., a position she has held since May 2014. From September 1996 to October 2013, she served as Vice President of Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Services. Ms. Brady serves on the Board of Directors of Comcast Corporation.

James E. Buckman has served as a Director since July 2006 and Lead Director since March 2010. From May 2007 to January 2012, Mr. Buckman served as Vice Chairman of York Capital Management, a hedge fund management company headquartered in New York City. From May 1, 2010 to January 2012, Mr. Buckman also served as General Counsel of York Capital Management, and from January 2007 to May 2007 he served as a Senior Consultant to York Capital Management.

Mr. Buckman was General Counsel and a director of Cendant from December 1997 to August 2006, a Vice Chairman of Cendant from November 1998 to August 2006, and a Senior Executive Vice President of Cendant from December 1997 to November 1998. Mr. Buckman was Senior Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of HFS Incorporated from May 1997 to December 1997, a director of HFS from June 1994 to December 1997, and Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary of HFS from February 1992 to May 1997. Mr. Buckman has also served as a member of the Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, Inc. board of directors since May 2018.

Since December 2003, Mr. Herrera has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Herrera-Cristina Group, Ltd., a Hispanic-owned, multidisciplinary management firm. From August 1998 to January 2004, Mr. Herrera served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Herrera served as President of David J. Burgos & Associates, Inc. from December 1979 to July 1998. Mr. Herrera served as a director of Cendant from January 2004 to August 2006.

Lucinda C. Martinez has served as a Director since November 2021. Since December 2024, Ms. Martinez has served as Chief Marketing Officer of HarbourView Equity Partners, a global multi-strategy investment firm focused on investment opportunities in the entertainment, sports, and media space.

In May 2022, Ms. Martinez founded THE CULTURESHAKER by LuMark, LLC, a marketing consulting firm providing media clients with a culture-first strategic approach to driving awareness and engagement across targeted audiences through culturally aligned advertising and promotional tactics.

Previously, Ms. Martinez was Vice President, Global Brand & Multicultural Marketing at Netflix, Inc., one of the world’s leading entertainment subscription services, from September 2021 through June 2022. She led the development, strategy, and execution of brand transformation, audience engagement, and insight-driven brand positioning within a cultural context for Netflix globally.

Prior to that, she spent nearly 20 years with Warner Media, a media company with a portfolio of iconic entertainment, news, and sports brands, in roles of increasing responsibility, including serving as Executive Vice President, Brand Marketing HBO and HBO Max from August 2020 to March 2021, and as Executive Vice President, Multicultural Marketing, Brand & Inclusion Strategy from September 2019 to August 2020.

Ms. Martinez serves on the Board of Trustees of The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and is a member of the Advisory Board of The Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

Denny Marie Post has served as a Director since May 2018. Ms. Post previously served as Co-President of Nextbite from June 2022 to May 2023. She also previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. from August 2016 and as President from February 2016 until her retirement in April 2019. She also serves on the boards of Vital Farms (VITL), Bluestone Lane Holdings, and Libbey Glass. She previously served as a member of the Red Robin Board of Directors.

Prior to that, Ms. Post served as Executive Vice President and Chief Concept Officer of Red Robin beginning in March 2015. Ms. Post joined Red Robin in August 2011 as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Ms. Post has more than 30 years of leadership experience in consumer-driven marketing, product innovation, and strategic team building.

Prior to her role at Red Robin, Ms. Post served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at T-Mobile USA. She previously held the roles of Senior Vice President of Global Beverage, Food and Quality for Starbucks Corporation, as well as Senior Vice President and Chief Concept Officer for Burger King. Ms. Post also held several management positions for KFC USA, KFC, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell Canada while she was employed with YUM! Brands, Inc.

Ronald L. Rickles has served as a Director since 2018. He was a senior partner with Deloitte & Touche until his retirement in 2014. He served in a variety of leadership roles, including managing partner for the New Jersey offices and Northeast regional leader of the firm’s professional services practice for mid-market and privately held companies. Earlier, serving as an audit partner for 30 years, Mr. Rickles was the lead partner serving some of the firm’s most significant clients, with deep experience serving the hospitality industry (including timeshare), REITs, retailers, financial services companies, and franchisors, including the legacy businesses of Wyndham Destinations.

Michael H. Wargotz has served as a Director since July 2006. Mr. Wargotz is a private investor involved with various start-up ventures. From July 2011 to June 2017, he was the Chairman of Axcess Ventures, an affiliate of Access Worldwide, a brand experience marketing development agency, which he co-founded in 2001.

From August 2010 to June 2011, Mr. Wargotz served as the Chief Financial Officer of The Milestone Aviation Group, LLC, a global aviation leasing company. From August 2009 to July 2010, he served as the Co-Chairman of Axcess Luxury and Lifestyle. From December 2006 to August 2009, Mr. Wargotz served as the Chief Financial Advisor of NetJets, Inc., a leading provider of private aviation services, and from June 2004 to November 2006, he served as Vice President of NetJets.

From January 1998 to December 1999, Mr. Wargotz served in various leadership positions with Cendant, including President and Chief Executive Officer of its Lifestyle Division, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of its Alliance Marketing Segment, and Senior Vice President, Business Development. Prior to 1998, Mr. Wargotz served in various finance and accounting positions at HFS Incorporated, PaineWebber & Co., American Express, and Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Wargotz previously served as a director of Quotient Technology Inc. from February 2023 to September 2023, Resources Connection, Inc. from May 2009 to October 2021, and CST Brands, Inc. from May 2013 to June 2017.
